                                   Vecpio oneshot

It was dark and cold the rain was coming down hard on Angle Island, and a familiar green crocodile known as Vector was running to escape the rain. He was out to go get food * takeout * for his team although his friend Espio insisted on getting what he called "actual food " so he could cook something for them, and everyone was ok with that but Vector had no idea what to get. He knew that the Team were all fussy eaters; Charmy would not eat any vegetables, Mighty would be fussy and pick at the food until it got cold and it would have to be put in the bin and in the end he would just eat sweets, Ray would sit and stare at it for a bit and then after asking a lot of questions like" Where did you get it" and "Why did we not just get takeout "it would also meet the bin. But Vector actually liked Espio's cooking. Espio was a good cook and he made nice cake. All Vector could think about was Espio's homemade cake and how he was not going to get any because they had no supplies to make anything.

Vector finally got home he was surprised to open the door to smell the sweet scent of freshly baked cake. He looked around and then went into the kitchen to see Mighty, Ray and Charmy all staring at a lovely looking cake with stem coming off of it so it was just out of the oven. Vector then looked over to the sink were Espio was washing a bowl and some other utensils he obviously used to make the cake. Espio stopped and looked at him and then at the take away, he rolled his eyes.

"I send you out to get actual food and you come bake with takeout"

Vector averted Espio's eyes and then decided to say something.

"Well…I didn't know what to get and well…"

Espio looked at Vector and then walked over to him and took the bags out of his hands.

"I gave you a list and it had specific instructions on what I wanted you to get"

Espio said whilst putting the takeout on the table and then leaving the room and going up stairs. Everyone looked at Vector. Mighty then pointed at Vector then to up stairs then put up his hand and moved it over his neck and pretended to be dead. Vector knew what Mighty was saying. It meant that Espio was going to kill him for not following the instructions he was given. Espio then came back with a towel in his hands.

"Well what is your excuse for not following my list?"

Espio said whilst pushing Ray and Mighty out of the room and closing the door behind them so Espio and Vector could talk alone.

"Well…I dropped it and it fell in a puddle and the rain made the ink run and I couldn't read it and…I didn't read it before it fell so I had no idea what you needed so I just got takeout…please don't kill me I'm sorry and I'll go out tomorrow and get what you need I promise"

Vector was on his knees and begging for forgiveness he didn't want to die. Espio looked at him and then walked over to him. Vector closed his eyes ready for anything but all he got was the soft felling of the towel on his face. He opened his eyes to see the towel on his snout and after that he could see Espio. Espio then smiled a soft gentle smile and started to rub Vector's snout to dry it of he then moved behind Vector and took the towel with him he then started to dry Vector's shoulders and his neck and slowly moving up to his head and took of Vector's head phones off and put them on the table with his tail. Espio then left the towel on Vector's head and put his arms around Vector's neck in a gentle hug. He then kissed Vector's cheek.

"I can't kill you even if I tried you are just…I just love you too much"

"I love you too Espio"

"Know dry yourself of and ill put out the food and get everyone and tell them dinner is on the table and that they can only get some cake after they are done dinner"

"You got it boss"

Vector then did as Espio said and he knew he would have the honor of eating Espio's food the next night but until then he could satisfy himself with Espio's homemade cake.
